So Ashley's best friend is getting married June 10th to a girl from Barcelona. Thing is, they are actually getting married IN BARCELONA at a 13th century Gothic architecture church. Their reception is at a beautiful little hotel on none other than the Paseo de Gracia. For those of you who don't know that street it's one of the nicest streets in all of Barcelona. A very ritzy district. Anyway, it got me thinking a)that I'm not going to the wedding because flights to Barcelona are about $1500 a piece and b)that Heather and I were very lucky study abroad students who got to stay on that very same road. I have to take

this stroll down memory lane...

and believe it or not, our friends had this same balcony. Right across the street from one of Gaudi's fabulous designed buildings!

Neither of us are going. He will have started his bar review courses by then, so unfortunately it's a no go. And again, flights are $1500. Hmm, if only it were next summer. Paying for my wedding and then trying to take a trip to Spain don't really fit into my meager budget. ; )
I'm up for dinner Friday night early. I'll be meeting a prof. at 3, done around 4:30 and I can read until you guys can meet. Katie you up for it and more importantly, will you pick a place for us to go?
Spain is beautiful, unfortunately I haven't been to the must see Barcelona. If I would ever finish my 43 things, I would put it on there.
ps- Yum
pps- Huge
I'm up for dinner, but hello? why in the world would you put me in charge of finding a restaurant? a)i'm terribly indecisive and b) aren't we talking about dining in Kennesaw? All I know is the Taco Mac that we've eaten at. I hear it's HUGE.
ps. on a totally different note, there's the funniest video of Paris Hilton on the superficial.com website singing Happy B'day to one Hugh Hefner. Please if you have a second, click on this video. It's well worth the extra time.
