Oscar nominees dubbed 'must see'
I couldn't access the actual ajc article. But this article is close on yahoo. It listed the Oscar nominated films that are must sees before the ceremony. I think I've only seen one, 'Little Miss Sunshine' which was really cute and had some funny splashes of dark humor. Still, for the blog's movie lovers, I thought I'd pass this info along. i'm dying to see the queen. my mom loved it. i've heard some really great reviews...especially that you become sympathetic to queen elizabeth. oh- saw the departed the other night. two full on thumbs up. LOVED IT. i gotta say..i haven't loved leonardo that much since i don't even know when. he alone, is worth the price of admission. have no desire to see babel. ugh. brad pitt annoys the shit out of me.
and little miss sunshine may be the year's greatest underdog. "she's a superfreak, superfreak...she's superfreaky yow..."
