Yep, I am in DC. It's been good but strange living in a hotel. No, no you have not been a bad friend, we've both had weird weeks since the holidays. Definitely check out the winteriminthedistrict.blogspot.com site. We went to the White House and had a photo op with Laura Bush. We also had breakfast, it was an amazing experience, just being behind closed doors. We were not alone, we attended an event honoring the Institute of Museums and Library Services, but still. It was wowsers. I'll attach a pic. Stinks you won't be able to use your BC/IG tickets, what are you going to do with them?

so, how is it living in a hotel room?? so strange i bet. sounds ilke things are going really well in dc! i love that place. i read that you were going to see Mrs Bush. so?? how was she? she seems adorable. anyway, keep me posted on everything. as for the ig/bc show...yeap, i'm selling them. i'm so bummed i can't go...yet another opportunity blown.
i know someone who would buy them from you, let me know. laura was sweet. not going to say i wasn't glad that hubby was abroad. but well.. ;)
hotel room is great, kitchen, den, bedroom.. still, it's a hotel. i'll be glad to trade in my hbo and checkered carpet for my dog and my bed.
thanks for the offer, but my friend lindsey is going to take them. we tried to see brandi c. back in sept or october, but at the 11th hour the tix fell through. anyway...i know she's excited.
