Transformers...more than meets the eye

As I told you earlier, we went to see Transformers tonight. I wasn't too thrilled at the idea just beacuse I never understand the fascination with the cartoons or the toys as a child....(although I was guilty of playing with them). However, after sitting through 2+ hours of this movie, I'm an official convert. I LOVED THIS MOVIE. Yes, there it is. I loved it. Everything about it actually. The CG animation was absolutely spectacular. Not once did you ever think you were looking at computer animation nor did you get the feeling of a green screen. This flick was action packed from start to finish.

I have to say though, my favorite part was Shia Labeouf. This kid
is fantastic! I'd seen him recently in an adorable little golf movie
called "The Greatest Game Ever Played" (ps. I totally recommend this movie) so I had an idea of how he was as an actor, but yeah, this movie will be it for him. He's gonna be huge. As well he should. But enough of about that, the movie was fantastic and I loved it.

I saw previews for this when I saw Mr. Brooks, also a very good movie if you haven't seen it. I don't know if I'll be throwing down money at the theater, but I'm sure I'll see it at some point. It did look good, and I'm sure every guy between the ages of 25 and 35 will be watching.

Honestly, I'd see it on the big screen. The special effects are flawless and so huge that watcihng it on anything smaller than the big screen just wouldn't do it justice. Oh, and the crowd in the theater was umm...well, it's Atlanta. Put two and two together. One guy behind Ashley was out of control hysterical. The second he saw Optimus Prime, I thought he was going to pee himself! Sheer entertainment!
And next on the big screen for me...Harry Potter!!! Oh boy!
