it's all about the timing

I'm in Charlottesville tonight. We had dinner at a lovely restaurant called "Zocalo". Sound familiar? That's because Atlanta, too, has a restaurant by the same name. I digress. We spent the wonderfully cool evening wandering through the downtown mall...from one end to the other. Well, there came this lovely sound eminating (?) from the other end of the Mall so of course we were drawn to it. Lo and behold, Jason Mraz was performing at Charlottesville's downtown amphitheatre. We didn't stay long, but I at least got to see and hear the little fella. Never thought of myself as a huge fan (even though you each ended up with one of his songs on the most recent cd), but now I may be. Quite impressive I must say.

Hope all is well. Leigh Ann - enjoy your whirlwind weekend dates and please feel free to give us full reports. Heather, I'm hoping I'll be able to stop by Quince tomorrow, but not sure if time will permit. Mary Ellen, make sure Lady doesn't eat anymore of your lawn furniture. ; )

I'm glad you made it safe and sound. How was Richmond? Lady hasn't cashed in on her chewing fetish as of late, but you never know what she'll find to lay her teeth on. Leigh Ann, I'm also anxiously awaiting your date reports. As for me I've spent the day grading my first set of papers. Not that I'm done, but I've got one class out of four done. Tomorrow will be spent at the Berry library as I get paid to grade more papers. Not that it was anything exciting, but Nathan called today. We chatted.. still no idea of what he is thinking. Heather, still checking ye olde blog these days?
