hey guys, click on the link for a direct connect to the red cross website. i've been watching The Today Show this morning...and the cut-ins from 11 Alive. so far this morning, 11 Alive's red cross drive has already raised $1.2 million! bank of america just made a $1,000,000 donation. i'm not one for calling in to things, so i think just donating to the red cross is a very easy alternative.
leigh ann, is your church doing anything in the way of volunteering in any way? if you are going to do something, let me know because i want to help.
someone on the internet compared downtown new orleans to a scene in Black Hawk Down. i just don't think it can get much worse.

Watching Katrina coverage has been overwhelming and very frustrating. I kept wondering, why does there not seem to be anyone in charge. Personally I don't think the FEMA director had a clue, he said on Thursday he was just finding out about the thousands at the convention center that day. Bullshit, Fox News had been shooting film there since Wednesday. The governor wasn't great, especially considering she should have had more guard in before the storm hit, but I wish Bush had taken charge three days earlier. I'm relieved to see things better now. But still just crushed.
On a happier note, Katie I'll see you today.. and we'll head off to Snellville for gelato.
