country music
i don't think that you will ever be able to ween me off country music...it's in my blood! :) i am open to listening to other types of music...but country is classic...i especially love the old country music - we like to refer to it as country gold (check it out on 106.7 on saturday nights)! you might become a fan yourself! maybe my mission in this friendship is to introduce you to country music! ha! what do you think? happy 5th of july

Alas, this is a bigger problem than I thought ;) "Country gold" is alright. And in fact, I'm a blue grass fan, been to the Ryman and Grand Ole Opry several times. Krissie is a country fan, so I've definitely been exposed, but then she likes her dirty rap too. But when they start singing about proud to be white trash, I have to draw the line. What's that girl's name - Gretchen something. And of course I like folk. So they're all related. But it's still 99x over South 107 for me- I just need a little driving force behind the music sometimes, something for the road that makes you have to keep the beat on your steering wheel.
oh leigh ann, we are so introducing you to some howie day...and some other good stuff. we won't necessarily "ween" you off country music, but i think we are going to have to make a concerted effort to show you just how good some stuff we like really is. i mean, how about some good old brit rock? a little coldplay, some u2 maybe? how about radiohead? depeche mode? the cure? try em out and let me know what you think? ; )
