blah
I'm pathetic. I know it. Without looking back at the posts, I can't tell you the last time I had an entry. Or rather, I can't remember the last time I had anything to say. Used to be that I couldn't shut up, but I guess these days, things aren't that bad and I've just been too busy. Alright, in all honesty, I just hate getting on the computer when I get home. Seriously, I'm working at a computer for 8-9 hrs a day, 5 days a week. The thought of getting on line after 6 oclock pains me. Therefore, the lack of communique. I'm hoping I'll have something fun and crazy to contribute soon. Otherwise, I'm just starting to look sad. And I'll try to add pictures too. I haven't taken any in quite some time.
Have a great night in your new home.
miss you.

So it's Wednesday night, 11:30 pm Nashvegas time. And I haven't done a blog entry like this for, well umm, years? I worked today at the Fisk Special Collections, I've been there all week. Then tonight Matt and Krissie and Reagan came over for dinner. I cooked up a bucket of chicken from Mrs. Winners. Hard work I'll tell you. Reagan and I shared our usual play time. I do love that kid. And after they left I worked on updating my bibliography for the dissertation. You see, I've made about a thousand copies in the past two weeks, no I'm not kidding, literally a thousand copies. So I added about half of what I've researched to the bib tonight. I'll work on the rest tomorrow afternoon. Did I mention that everyone here calls me bookworm? It's actually pretty funny because everytime someone calls me during the day I'm usually in a library, using my 'library voice.' So I finished working in front of the tv, half ass watching the latest Harry Potter movie, and I hear a loud hum, or rather a roar. I peeked outside and it is raining, more than I've seen in TN or GA in the past few months. So I stood on my stoop, watching the rain fall off the edge of my house like a sheet of water, seriously a little Niagara right off the edge of my house. I had a pig and enjoyed the moment. There is something serene and peaceful with rain at night. There's my latest moment. Off to bed here in a second, good night.

No way...

... a new post. You have got to be kidding me. So Nashvegas is good, but being a stow-a-way (as Rob would call it) is interesting. And I miss my dog. I can't wait to have a house and a yard and an address and all the crap that's been loaded in my car forever. But I have been having a good time ;) Here's a picture from last weekend when my old old friend Jennifer came in town. I do love that girl. It was a blast. Is it just me or do I have that old MEP twinkle back in my eyes? It truly is a pursuit of happiness. Be good my blog friends and I'll be back soon.
