Last Days of Summer

I will miss summer and most of all home grown garden vegetables. This tomato might have been my last freshly grown until next year. Ode to the tomato.

Bermuda

Welcome home ladies. I just wanted to say thank you for making the trek to Bermuda. I know the weather wasn't perfect and luggage may not have arrived, but I loved having my best friends there to share it all with me.

Pure Joy

Today ended a long and stressful graduate school journey, I finished my comp exams. The past two weeks have contained about 19 hours and 68 pages of written exams, topped off by today's oral examination. Despite a major case of cold sweats, I was given the final nod, and I am oh so relieved. Wanted to let you guys know. The dissertation awaits, so the journey is far from over, but I'm very glad to be through this phase. Hope everyone is well.
