Christmas best gifts worst gifts...c'mon...tell me!

OK - Christmas was not so bad...I am so EXHAUSTED! Anyhow in honor of the best/worst we did in ITALY I think should do the best and worst of Christmas and post pictures...here are mine. Travis gave me a diamond necklace that I love and my aunt gave me a purse I love....see pictures. The worst gift I got was two monogrammed hand towels that
have our monogram backwards...I won't say who gave me those..

BOSTON --Pop singer Howie Day was arrested at Logan International Airport for rowdy behavior on a Boston-bound flight after he became intoxicated from a mix of alcohol and a sleeping pill.
Day, 24, pleaded innocent to a charge of interfering with a flight crew at his arraignment Friday in East Boston District Court. He was released on personal recognizance and declined to comment to reporters afterward. He's due back in court on March 16.
Day, who is from Brewer, Maine, was returning home for the holidays and took a pill to help him sleep on the flight from Dallas, said his lawyer, Paul Kelley.
"He had a couple of drinks. The pill interacted with the drinks and he became intoxicated. He feels badly if he inconvenienced anyone, or caused any discomfort," Kelley told reporters outside court. "He has and will apologize, and our hope is that we'll be able to resolve this thing as promptly as possible."
David Procopio, a spokesman for the Suffolk District Attorney's office, said Day smoked a cigarette in the airplane bathroom.
"He was verbally abusive to the flight crew and was kicking the backs of seats of passengers in front of him," Procopio said.
The charge carries as a fine of $10-$500, a jail term of 1 to 6 months, or both.
In March 2004, Day was arrested in Madison, Wis., for allegedly locking a woman in the bathroom of a tour bus after she refused his sexual advances. He then broke the cell phone of another woman who tried to call police, according to the criminal complaint.
The singer-songwriter received critical acclaim for his 2003 album, "Stop All the World Now."

I have to be brutally honest...Tom Hanks does not work for me as Robert Langdon. Maybe a Russel Crowe type would have been better. Hell, I'd even vote for Dennis Quaid over this guy, but I will see it just because I adored the book so much. Oh yeah, and I totally heart Audrey Tautou, Paul Bettany, and Jean Reno. I'm a movie geek I know kids. So if you have a few moments to spare, check it out.

nothing of importance

Wow, I have absolutely nothing of importance to say, I just can't stand the fact that we're all totally sucking at posting right now...with the exception of MEP...so I'm here to say...umm...not a whole lot of anything! Ha ha ha ha!







Here's a really sad picture of the Rich's Christmas tree at Lenox Mall. Has anyone actually seen this tree in person yet? Oh good lord it's the saddest looking tree I've ever seen. Seriously. My 6 foot tree has more characteristic to it than this crappy little crappy crap.

Okay, just on a side note, has anyone ever seen King Kong? In all of my movie adventures, I've never taken the time to see the 1st or 2nd...let alone the new 3rd version of the same beast movie. Here's my question though: does anyone think the whole premise of this movie is insanely bizarre? I mean, a gorilla in love with a blonde bombshell? AND...the new trailer pimps out Coldplay's "Fix You" by acting as if anyone can relate to the idea of a beastial relationship??? What the hell is going on here??? I mean it would be hard enough to relate to the idea of Naomi Watts and Adrien Brody being in love, but Kong and Naomi? In the words of Mugatu, "I feel like I'm taking crazy pills!"

Just making sure this thing still works. After a week of hell, I hope to emerge brighter and peppier tomorrow. I'm off to Nashvegas this weekend for some time with Krissie, Matt, and the new babe. Hopefully, it will also involve some fun. How are you guys?

Check list

So yep, I've been busy as hell. As soon as I get something checked off my list I add three more things to it. Plus, helping out with the bball team is taking time that I sort of need at the moment. But if I can get enough stuff done tomorrow I should be ok. We lost last night, won tonight. Tomorrow I need to write two lectures, post possible discussion questions on my school blog, and read for GSU. On top of me proofing a paper for Krissie and Will (my hot young hook up). So as you can see nothing much to report, but at least I got my to-do list written out right? Let's get together soon. Katie, did you get my email about the new artist I've already grown to love..Missy Higgins? Not all the songs are great, but I find myself singing along to several of them.
