Where oh where

did those good old days go? Katie, you're not old, we're all old. Nothing to apologize for.. we are boldly going where millions have gone before- 29. For me, I plan on celebrating my last official birthday in March, I'm cutting them off after that. And as you speak of Athens in the cool, crisp fall I also find myself nostalgic. I know what you mean about 99x too, I hear shit on there, and it takes me back to a time. Not a specific day necessarily, but to a time. Know what I mean? How did we get to this place where we worry about pets and alarm clocks, and those factors trump a good night of going out. And so I'm winding down myself, just got off the phone with the new boy, and I'm afraid to say that in the past few days I've realized that although a super sweet guy he's not worth the dating hassle. As he delineated into a conversation about Nascar I knew.. I'm not done looking yet. It sucks. I just want to find someone who likes to watch college football, uses correct grammar, and can relate to what I am doing or rather what I am working towards. Poor Todd cannot. Alas, I must just keep on trucking and figure out a way to let him down slowly. It's hard being so damn cool ;). You two be glad that you found someone before all the good ones were gone. Yes, yes let's go to Athens. And Katie and Jennifer, come on up- what about the weekend after Howie? Or even the weekend of? Let me know. PS- Did any of you guys ever catch onto the band 'Vast'? I pulled out their old cd and am currently jamming. They are good in a post-Pearl Jam way. Alright, I'm hitting it (bed that is).

Loves.

oh how i wish.

maybe it's my impending birthday. maybe it's the fact that i'm the oldest in the group. maybe it's just that i'm old...whatever the case may be, i'm missing the good old days. ever since the lame excuse for a radio station 99x started it's "90s at 9", i've been having those pangs that pull at your heartstrings. the funny thing is, even though not all of the songs are good, i can still remember where i was when i heard them. unfortunately, they all remind me of athens. for all of the shit i went through whilst in college, i still miss those days...and would go back in a heartbeat. then again, i am quite the masochist.

{hope you guys don't mind my ramblings}

i'm going to be broke for a while as i'm planning on buying a new car next month, but i really do want all of us to plan a weekend in athens (preferably in november). no excuses this time. we'll get leslie in the loop, and the 4 of us can actually spend a weekend in athens the right way. it has to be cool outside...crisp, sunny...just the way i love athens. the way people are supposed to experience athens. if it means i have to take a friday off just to sit outside and have lunch at cookies & co, then sobeit. i've got about 5 sick days left...and well, my team can live without me for a day.

okay miss mary ellen, if it's okay, i think jennifer and i are going to make a daytrip to rome for a little excursion on the bikes. are you up for it? she still hasn't taken her bike out yet and i know she's dying to. so just let me know.

it's past my bedtime, so i shall sign off now.

sweet dreams,

rain rain go away

I'm getting ready to head in for my spanish class, and let me just tell you, I'm soaked. The umbrella was nothing more than a parasail, flipped up in every direction, broke in a couple of spots, and I'm sure to sit with freezing wet feet for the next couple of hours. Oh well. Katie and Jen, thanks for the spanish help and company the other day. The presentation went fine, and I think I had one of the two hardest passages. Again, Murphy's Law. I still think I'm in for Howie but I have to double check the time of my granddad's 90th bday party. Katie if you need an answer from me and still haven't heard just give me a call. Things have been crazy and I only think about it when I'm in no position to figure out if I can go. Alright, back to the rain for a dash across to class. Later.

Always,

heazzer...

Miss Heather, we missed you this weekend. Sure hope you're feeling better. We'll have to reschedule another altogether weekend in the near future. Hopefully, once both of you guys have gotten settled back into the jobs.

Also, H, you are definitely going to Italy! That's great! It seems that the three of us will be bunking together the whole time, so ladies, please keep in mind, I talk in my sleep. According to Ashley, I've been chatty Katie in my sleep lately.

Alright. Well back to The Professional. I just love an 11 year old Natalie Portman.
By the way, have any of you guys seen Garden State? If not, I highly recommend it. This is one incredible movie. I can't wait to see it again.

xoxo,
